Erik Johnson is the Head of Sales for Asia Pacific at Facebook, where he leads the regional sales team focused on providing marketing solutions to help the region’s top businesses and agencies be successful on Facebook.
Prior to Facebook, Erik spent twelve years at Microsoft, most recently as the General Manager of the Consumer and Online Business in Greater China, where he oversaw the end to end online business and all consumer facing marketing for the region.
Earlier in his career, Erik managed the MSN business development teams for Europe and Asia, where he oversaw the strategy and the creation of partnerships, both to enrich MSN services through media/content relationships and to bring them to market via distribution channels such as telephony, cable companies, and wireless carriers.

Farshad Family is Managing Director for Nielsen Media, India. He leads Nielsen’s media businesses in television, online, and telecom including Client Service and Product Leadership initiatives. Previously within Nielsen, Farshad worked in Nielsen Media’s strategy and business development group, where he led initiatives related to corporate strategy, partnerships, and new ventures.
Farshad joined Nielsen from McKinsey & Company, where he served as a leader in McKinsey’s Global Media, Entertainment and Information practice. In this role, Farshad was responsible for serving clients in a variety of media and telecom sectors particularly on issues of strategy, growth and innovation for leading companies in television, online advertising, newspapers, radio, outdoor advertising, and consumer electronics.
Gautam is Product Evangelist and India Marketing Lead at BraveNewTalent. He specializes in the areas of HR, Organization Development and how businesses can leverage Social Media for Organizational Learning and Employee Engagement. Earlier he was a Consultant with Social Business firm 2020 Social where he led the Talent practice, advising companies can build talent pipelines and internal employee engagement and development using emergent tools.
Gautam used to be a lawyer with a focus on copyright laws and has also been an entrepreneur. He is passionate about education, equality and equity and focuses on ‘access’ as a way to achieve these. Gautam was a TED India Fellow in 2009 and is a Creative Commons supporter. He also works with the Akshara Foundation where he manages the Karnataka Learning Partnership project, Pratham Books and is an advisor to Inclusive Planet. He is a founder member of Wikimedia Chapter (India) and served as Secretary on the Executive Committee from March 2011 to September 2011.
Gitanjali began her career at Paramount Inc. in the US in 1989, and in 1992, moved to India to join Titan as a Brand Manager. She joined Nestle in 1995 as Senior Brand Manger for Maggi before moving to HK in 1998 as Producer at chinadotcom Corporation, managing their three English-language portals.
Gitanjali moved to Malaysia in 2003 as Director, Strategic Planning at Leo Burnett. A year later, she joined their global team to develop and launch Arc Worldwide. In May 2006 she became General Manager of Leo Burnett Greater China and then moved to Tokyo in 2007 as Engagement Business Director.

With the company increasing the data revenues at the rate of 10 per cent month on month, this seems to be a step in the right direction.

Viral was associated with Unilever’s Deodorant business for many years where he was heading the marketing for Axe Deodorant across Asia. Prior to that, during his stint in HUL, his successes include the launch and establishment of Axe in India. He has also had invaluable experience in implementation of the Regional marketing structure in Asia and Africa-Middle East.
